- Prices include all materials & snacks
- HST will be added to all fees
- Lunch supervision (students provide their own lunch) is available for half-day students at a cost of $30 per week. For full-day registrants, lunch supervision is included.
- Before-camp care (8:00-9:00 am) – $30.00 per week
- After-camp care (4:00-5:30 pm) – $45.00 per week

Cartooning: Alien Invasion (Gr. 4-7)

Space aliens and creatures that want to take over the world will come to life in this engaging and fun program. Creating unique and imaginative characters and the stories that go along with them is the basis of a great cartoon. Now students can explore space aliens and creatures through this hands-on cartooning program. Using a variety of artist's tools and materials, including pencil, pen, ink, paint and more, the class will complete a finished comic, full of their own unique and wacky space characters. Inspiration will be taken from great comic books and other forms of art like music, movies, and videogames.

Abstract Explorations: The Big Bang (Gr. 6-9)

Are you ready for a big explosion of colour, concepts and creativity? Get ready to explore the excitement, the movement and the ideas behind abstract painting! Students will each work on a large canvas to create their own painting that communicates their own story about the universe. Acrylic paint and collage will be used so students can discover the concepts of colour, form, positive/negative space and movement in painting.

Cartooning & Illustration: Space Voyage (Gr. 6-9)

Get ready for a fantastical and creative journey through space and beyond. If you love cartoons, and graphic novels or if you doodle and draw every chance you get, then this class is perfect for you. Students will explore their creative and technical abilities in this fun and challenging program. Through the use of pencil, pen, brush and ink, acrylic paint, scratchboard and more, students will develop amazing illustrations and storyboards inspired by outer space and space travel. Inspiration will be taken from pop art, graffiti, popular comic books and novels, as well as music, movies, and videogames.

All the Universe is a Stage: Musical Theatre Stars (Gr. 4-8)

Come and shine like a star and be a musical theatre performer this March Break! This class is perfect for students who love ‘triple threat’ performing and those who are interested in trying it for the first time. Working on group numbers from popular and well-known musicals, the class will develop and work on an original performance piece that links together the musical numbers in a story and thematic way. While doing this, students will also learn about character development, basic vocal performance, acting and choreography. The show will be performed for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Photography & Mixed Media: Tour of the Universe (Gr. 4-7)

This is a hands-on class for students who love exploration! Students will delve in and explore a variety of materials and mediums, as well as their own creative choices. Develop your own imaginary universe through art or reinterpret the images of others. Using photography created by the students themselves, magazine clippings, collage materials, acrylic paints, inks, dyes and much more, students will learn exciting techniques to create one of a kind and contemporary works of art. The class will manipulate photos using paint, pen, ink and collage materials to create texture and layers and learn how to use art materials to communicate ideas and images in ways that go beyond the traditional. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm.

Landscapes of our Universe (Gr. 4-8)

Come and make unique, whimsical and out of this world landscapes! This course will go beyond the idea of the traditional landscape painting and introduce various materials and mediums to the drawing and painting process. Students will use relief, sculpture and collage to layer and create more 3-dimensional, mixed media inspired landscape paintings. Projects will explore the use of color, line, shape, texture, pattern, and setting. There's no limit to what the imagination can create in this class.

Come and shine like a star and be a theatre performer this March Break! This class is perfect for students who love acting and performing and also those who are interested in trying it for the first time. In this performance-based program, the class will develop and work on an original theatre piece. Students will help write the script and develop the characters while learning about performance, character development, improvisation, idea and story creation and production value. The show will be performed for family and friends on the last day of camp.
